The table is full, but plates are empty

I see churches all the time, whether baptist, pentecostal, evangelical, or whatever; who are offering feasts of spiritual meals to the saints (members of the churches). However, the people of the church often times leave with the same problems the came in with. They continue the quarrel with their spouse that started on the way to "church". What this means is that people are not taking the Word of God seriously. People call themselves Christian, but if you line them up next to a non-Christian, you can't tell the difference. Jesus said, "we will be known by our fruit".

How are you known? I wonder how people think of me? We shouldn't aim to "please" people, but we should try to be pleasing to God by influencing people. We have been commissioned to take the gospel to all the world. Jesus came to seek and save the lost. We are supposed to do the things that Jesus did.

I hope that we can all start taking a plate to "church" on Sundays or Wednesdays. If we are going to take our plate, then we should actually eat while we are there. We really need to get serious about this life event that we call religion. We are called to become sanctified (live more holy lives). What are we doing to achieve this?
