SATISFIED

I have had Psalm 91 on my heart for about the past week. It begins by talking about taking refuge in the Lord. It says He who dewlls in the shelter of the Most High, will also REST in the shadow of the Almighty. That is a pretty awesome thought. Think about it. Live your life "seeking" God, dwelling in His shelter. We also get to REST in His shadow. How cool is that? How great is it to rest in a shadow of a great shade tree in the heat of the summer?

At the end of the chapter, it goes on to tell us that the Lord will protect us, He will hear us, and answer our prayers,He will be with us in our troubles, He will deliver us and honor us, He will satisfy us with long life, and show us His salvation. Wow, what a promise we can stand on.

In the middle of the chapter, it talks about thousands falling around us, but we are not harmed. Wow.......

I encourage everyone to run to the shelter of the Most High.
